About the role

We are seeking a talented Barista all rounder to join our tight-knit team at the Gardens Tearooms' in The Range QLD 4700. This is a casual position where you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and high-quality coffee and beverages to our guests.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and serving a variety of coffee, tea, and other hot and cold beverages to our customers
  • Maintaining a clean, well-organised, and inviting café environment
  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests
  • Accurately processing customer orders and handling cash and payments
  • Assisting with food preparation tasks as needed
  • Restocking and maintaining inventory of café supplies
  • Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene standards

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar café/hospitality role
  • Strong knowledge of coffee equipment and techniques, and the ability to prepare high-quality espresso-based drinks
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Good time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing demands and priorities
  • Food safety and hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain)
