Role Details

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Underground Grader Operator to support the safe and efficient maintenance of underground roadways.

You will play a key role in maintaining safe access and haulage routes across the underground operation.

This is a residential only position, based in Broken Hill.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate underground grader to maintain haul roads, decline, and access areas.
• Ensure roads are safe, well-drained, and compliant with site standards.
• Conduct pre-start inspections, report defects, and complete basic equipment maintenance.
• Work closely with mining crews, supervisors, and maintenance teams.
• Follow all safety procedures, policies, and legislative requirements.

What You Will Bring

• Proven experience operating graders
• Current manual driver's licence
• Grader ticket or VOC
• Strong understanding of underground traffic management and ventilation requirements
• Ability to work safely and autonomously under minimal supervision
• Good communication and hazard identification skills
