TEC Services Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Qualified Carpenter / Machine Operator to join our team in Port Hedland, WA. This is a full-time role where you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality carpentry and cabinet-making services to our diverse range of residential, commercial and industrial clients. Applicants must also be qualified to operate an excavator and bobcat. The role is based in Port Hedland WA. FIFO 3:1 will be considered for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing

  • Carrying out a range of carpentry tasks such as framing, roofing, flooring, and general fit-out work
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Collaborating with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to apprentice carpenters

What we're looking for

  • Formal qualification in Carpentry
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified carpenter in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and industry best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Current driver's licence
