SAVITA Healthcare Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. This is a casual role that will involve providing compassionate and personalized care to our elderly and disabled clients. As a Support Worker, you will be an integral part of our mission to enhance the quality of life for those in our care.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
  • Provide companionship, social engagement, and emotional support to clients
  • Advocate for client needs and communicate with the broader care team
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as as part of a collaborative team
  • Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
  • Current driver's license and access to reliable transportation
  • Candidate must be able to service the Western Suburbs including but not limited to Werribee, Point Cook, Tarneit.
