About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced NCCD Support Officer to join our Student Services team.

This non-teaching role plays a pivotal part in coordinating inclusive education practices and ensuring compliance with NCCD and Individual Learning Plan (ILP) requirements commencing 22/01/ FTE (8:30am - 4:30pm).

You will collaborate closely with teachers, aides, and allied health professionals to support students with disabilities and additional learning needs—ensuring they are able to access, participate and thrive within the curriculum.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate NCCD data collection and documentation processes across the College.
  • Support teachers in developing and implementing Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).
  • Promote inclusive teaching strategies and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles.
  • Liaise with parents, teachers, and allied health professionals to facilitate support and intervention.
  • Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with school and government requirements.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for funding applications and support submissions.
  • Contribute to professional learning and the College's inclusive education initiatives.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Certificate III or IV in School-Based Education Support (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting students with additional learning needs.
  • Proven ability to manage NCCD processes and ILP documentation.
  • Strong organisational, administrative, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, aides, and external professionals.
  • A sound understanding of the Victorian Child Safe Standards and mandatory reporting.
