About the role.

We currently have an exciting in our Events team, within Corporate Affairs in our National Support office in Burnley at Bunnings. Our Activations Lead will be responsible for delivering a diverse program of work that drives customers in store to create positive connections with the brand, builds customer loyalty and delivers commercial outcomes.

This role is a permanent part time role – ideally 3 days (24 hours a week) – we do have some flexibility to look at the time being worked across 4 or 5 days also.

What's involved:

This role will create and deliver a diverse calendar of activations to drive engagement throughout our entire store network, including Family Night, In-Store Vibe campaigns and events related to various brand partnerships.  There will be a strong focus on creativity, ideation and setting store teams up to deliver highly engaging events that offer our customers positive interactions with our brand.

Who we're looking for.

We are looking for someone with great energy, a strong customer focus and exceptional stakeholder management skills.  No two days will be the same so a hunger for variety, ability to be agile and openness to fresh thinking is also encouraged.

You'll need:   

• Degree qualification in Marketing, Comms, PR, Events or similar.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar retail marketing role with a focus on running multiple projects at once.
• Expertise in project management, stakeholder management, marketing campaigns and decision making processes
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, managing conflicting deadlines and multiple priorities. A strong appreciation for creative thinking and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
