About the role
We are looking for an extremely motivated pharmacy student who is looking for an Pharmacy Internship.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting in the compounding and dispensing of pharmaceutical products, ensuring accuracy and patient safety
- Learning to deliver professional consultations including vaccination
- Collaborating with the pharmacy team to provide exceptional customer service and patient-centred care
- Participating in the review and monitoring of patient medication profiles, identifying potential issues and recommending appropriate interventions
- Engaging in continued professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices
What we're looking for
- It is preferable that you have had some (more than Uni placements) PBS dispensing experience.
- You are passionate about the profession and compounding
- You must be prepared to deliver health promotion activities, wellness and medication management advice, use Self Care Health information, vaccinate and compound a variety of medications.
- You have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and patient safety
- You work effectively in a team environment and adapt to a dynamic work setting
- You are proficient in the use of FRED, Medadvisor software and technology

About us
We are an independent pharmacy operating at a new location in Westfield Bondi Junction. In addition to traditional pharmacy we provide specialised complex compounding, integrative medicines advice, immunisation and a range of professional services . We participated in the NSW UTI, OCP Continuation and Skin Conditions trials. and encourage our interns to embrace increased scope of practice. We are open 7 days per week.
The successful applicant will be offered a full-time (38hours per week) fixed term contract for the intern year. Before the internship commences we prefer the successful applicant to work at Fresh Therapeutics for several hours per week for training in compounding and pharmacy processes to take place.
