ANAESTHETIC NURSE/TECHNICIAN
About the role
Sydney Pain Day Surgery are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated experienced Anaesthetic Nurse/Technician who is committed to patient care, exceptional customer service and providing support to our doctors and clinical team.
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to
· Assist Anesthetists during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases of pain management procedures
· Prepare and maintain Anaesthetic equipment, medications, and monitoring device in accordance with safety standards
· Monitor patients closely, ensuring comfort and safety throughout their journey
· Provide patient education and reassurance before and after procedures
· Work collaboratively with Surgeons, Anesthetists, and recovery staff to deliver seamless and efficient care
About You:
· Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
· Previous experience in anesthetics or recovery nursing (day surgery or pain management experience highly regarded)
· Excellent clinical judgement and ability to remain calm under pressure
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach
· Commitment to best practice, safety, and continuous professional growth
Remuneration will depend on experience. To be negotiated.
