Transwa is the regional division of the Public Transport Authority (PTA) and a direct provider of public transport services that connect 240 destinations across the state, from Kalbarri in the North to Augusta in the South West and Esperance in the South East.
About the role
Transwa is seeking experienced and customer-focused individuals to join our Albany office as Customer Service Officers. In this vital frontline role, you'll assist a diverse range of customers with their travel needs—whether in person, over the phone, or via email. Key responsibilities include issuing tickets, taking payments, and providing accurate information about Transwa's services and policies.
We're looking for candidates with strong communication and problem-solving skills who can handle a variety of enquiries in a fast-paced environment. The ability to resolve complex customer concerns professionally, work effectively in a small team, and stay organised under pressure is essential. As Transwa operates 364 days a year, availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster is required. You will carry out regular relief duties in Senior Customer Service roles at the Albany regional office and you may also be required to occasionally undertake work at other regional and metropolitan locations.
After a short period of systems and business process training, you will be provided with ongoing support whilst undertaking the role in our Albany office. If you're ready to bring your customer service expertise to a friendly and dedicated team, we encourage you to apply.

-
Proficiency in operating word processing applications, email/calendar management systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
