Experienced Conveyancer - Mornington Peninsula Law Firm

Location: Hastings VIC 3915

Position: Full-time/Part-time Negotiable

Salary: Based on experience

We are a long established boutique law firm with a loyal client base and a friendly, supportive team. We are looking for an experienced Conveyancer to join us.

About the Role:

You'll handle residential and small commercial conveyancing matters from start to finish, working directly with clients, agents and financial institutions. This role suits someone who enjoys building client relationships and takes pride in providing efficient, personalised service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Independently managing sales, purchases and transfers from instruction to settlement

- Preparing contracts, Section 32 statements and related documents

- Conducting and managing PEXA settlements

- Liaising with clients and other professionals in a professional and friendly manner

- Maintaining accurate file management and compliance records

- Liaising with Probate and Family Law staff to complete Transfers and Transmission applications as required

- Experience and knowledge of leases both commercial and retail

- Experience with subdivisions a bonus but not essential

About You:

- Confident managing files independently

- Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures

- Proficient with PEXA and Duties on Line

- Proficient with Smokeball desirable but not essential

- Great communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
