We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and conscientious individual to join our business as a Recruitment Assistant located at our South Australia (Wingfield SA) site.
Working closely with the HR/IR team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective advice and administration support to Hiring Managers across the business through the end-to-end recruitment and ensuring compliance to policies, procedures and legislative requirements at all times.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process - from candidate sourcing and screening to interview scheduling, offer management and onboarding.
- Act as the key point of contact for recruitment matters
- Assist with the co-ordination of the end-to-end recruitment process for both candidates and hiring managers providing an excellent experience for both stakeholders.
- Support, advise and coach hiring managers in relation to recruitment and selection
- Maintain and update candidate records and ensure data integrity (manual and electronic).
- Load information into our visa checking system for new hires and agency employees to conduct visa checks as per immigration requirements
- Carry out any general administration duties e.g. filing, photocopying as and when required
- Responsible for maintaining sound HR records and filing in a manner which is easily understood and contains all relevant information ready in the case that it is called upon for legal reasons
- Any other reasonable duties, as required, commensurate with the role.
Critical Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience or knowledge of HR and/or Recruitment processes
- Preferably with experience in volume recruitment
- Tertiary qualification in HR or relevant discipline (desirable however not essential)
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly build and maintain positive professional relationships built on trust across all levels of the business
- Ability to thrive under pressure and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to professionally challenge a hiring decision when required or push back to stakeholders when required.
