About the Role

As the Superintendent – Site Support, you will lead a multi-disciplined team responsible for delivering essential site services, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. You'll partner closely with contractors, operational leaders, and corporate teams to deliver best-in-class support across our site operations.

Please note: This role is site based supporting Telfer & Haveiron on 8/6 FIFO roster

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the site administration team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery across both sites.
  • Manage Village Services and Aviation provider contracts, ensuring all KPIs are met and regulatory standards (including CASA and FoodSafe) are maintained.
  • Oversee mobilisation, travel, and accommodation logistics for site personnel, ensuring a seamless process from onboarding to demobilisation.
  • Drive continuous improvement in site support processes, enhancing service quality, cost efficiency, and safety outcomes.
  • Manage financial and operational reporting, ensuring accurate, timely data for senior management.
  • Oversee the review and maintenance of site policies, procedures, and documentation repositories.
  • Ensure all village and site support operations meet company, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure optimal resourcing, rostering, and operational readiness.

About You

You're an experienced site-based leader with a passion for operational excellence and a proven ability to drive high-performing teams. You thrive in complex, fast-paced environments and bring a hands-on approach to leadership, service delivery, and stakeholder engagement.

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum 10 years' supervisory experience in mining or a related industry, including at least 1 year in a Superintendent role.
  • Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary site support teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in mobilisation, accommodation, flight and workforce management systems.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Suite and CMMS software.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage contractor performance and operational compliance (including CASA and FoodSafe requirements).
  • Commitment to safety and a track record of promoting a safety-first culture.
  • Statutory Supervisor Certification (required).

Highly Regarded:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business Administration, or Hospitality & Service Management.
  • CASA Accreditation or Aerodrome Management experience.
  • ARO/AROC Certification.
  • Food Safety Supervisor
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
