An exciting opportunity exists with our community engagement and awareness team in a role that focuses on delivering groups and working closely with our local community.
This position is a Part-Time position (4 days per week) till 30 June 2026.

Job Description
The Group Facilitator is part of the headspace Community Engagement Team. This role works collaboratively with the headspace Team to design, facilitate and evaluate a range of group programs within their local centre.

We are looking for a passionate community engagement professional with a desire to make a difference. The successful candidate will have:
Qualification and/or equivalent experience in community services, youth work, health promotion or group facilitation
Experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of group programs for Young People aged 12-25 years. Demonstrated understanding of the mental health needs of young people from a range of social and cultural backgrounds and with diverse gender and sexual identities
Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to
communicate sensitively and effectively with all people to ensure effective relationships
Demonstrated organisational, time management and administrative skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines
Demonstrated experience in maintaining professional boundaries and responding to risk while engaging in person-centred work.
