About the Role:

Reporting to the Business Development Manager & Managing Director, We are looking for an energetic and experiencedXERO experienced Bookkeeper to join our small friendly, professional & awesome practice team on Part Time basis for 2-3 days.

You will need to have the flexibility to work off-site at clients' workplace if needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Working on clients of various industries.
  • Working with various add-ons such as Workflow Max, Dext, Hubdoc, Vend, Deputy, Cliniko, Service M8 etc.
  • Processing Payroll, BAS & IAS preparation and liaising with Managing Director & the team.
  • Assist in preparing financial information/reports for Accountants, on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Month end and Year end processing, reconciliations and data entry of required journals.
  • Prepare disclosure statements and client agreements for new clients.
  • Will need to liaise with staff in Canberra office.
  • Ad-hoc analysis for the Managing Director & Business Development Manager.
  • Can be required to work on client premises.

Skills & Experience:

  • You MUST reside in and hold full work rights in Australia.
  • MUST have excellent knowledge of XERO.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, with a Diploma or higher qualification.
  • Proficiency in MS Office i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Ability to multi-task and problem-solve.
  • Team Player, self-motivated, reliable and trustworthy.
  • Ability to learn new systems and procedures quickly.
  • Experience working in a bookkeeping/ accounting firm will be a distinct advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of MYOB & QuickBooks will be awesome.
  • Experience with preparing tax returns would be a bonus.
  • THIS ROLE IS an OFFICE BASED opportunity IN PERTH.
