About the Role…

As a Post Placement Support(PPS) Consultant, your role will be to monitor and provide post placement support to participants in employment, identify barriers to ongoing employment and provide a solution focused approach to assist the participant in maintaining employment.

Location: Must be based within the Hobart region

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing consistent and proactive support to employed participants through regular telephone and/or face-to-face contact.
  • Monitoring their progress, addressing any challenges they may encounter in the workplace, and offering guidance to help them maintain long-term employment.
  • Preparing and submitting claim evidence and documentation in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with contractual and organisational requirements.
  • Identifying and recommending additional or alternative training, resources, or support services based on the individual needs and circumstances of each participant.
  • Effectively managing a PPS caseload, ensuring all activities are conducted in line with contractual obligations, internal policies, and quality standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records, meeting performance targets, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What we need from you:

  • Experience in Employment Services or clearly demonstrated transferable skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work unsupervised in challenging environments.
  • Proven experience working in a high-performance driven environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to build positive working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • High degree of self-motivation
  • Strong engagement and relationship building skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel suites of programs

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • A MyGovID (Standard level)
  • Willing to complete a National Police Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Available to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
