The Position

As a GYG Area Manager you will work closely with the Franchisee of 3-4 Guzman y Gomez Restaurants on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. You will play pivotal role within GYG by leading, motivating and supporting Franchisees and their teams to drive sales growth and deliver results. You will ensure there is no compromising on food safety and quality as well as help build great restaurant teams so that every customer will love us.

Things move quick around here As a leader, you'll be looked upon as a calming force when the heat's on. On any given day you will help the Franchisee strategise to increase profitability, lead and develop people and proactively improve customer experience. You will also be an operations expert and always looking for areas of opportunity to improve our teams and operations within each restaurant.

What we're looking for

We'll provide you with the support required to get the mechanics right. We're scouting for attitude, maturity and energy. If what we're doing strikes a few chords, we'd love to opportunity to find you a place in our team.

Candidates must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.

You'll bring;

  • QSR/hospitality, Retail multi-site management experience or at least 2 years experience being a Restaurant Manager of a QSR or similar business
  • Excellent judgment and stakeholder relationship management
  • Exceptional influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • GYG brand advocate (what's your favourite menu item?)
