Description
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Oversee the implementation of all site safety and ensure all procedures are monitored according to the Project Safety Management PlanMonitor progress of works against the current construction program and ensure all trades are coordinating with each otherManage and coach staff effectively, leading the team in achieving project and personal goalsOversee, coach and mentor the works of the Site Supervision teamSchedule and coordinate other site staff (e.g., admin) with priority issues / tasks being identified and actionedOversee the quality of trade works to ensure the required standard is achieved in all casesIssue site instructions and other correspondence as required to trade contractors and consultantsLiaise with the Client and ensure a long-standing relationship is maintainedReport to senior management on a regular basis and advise of any current or potential issuesPlan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones;Establish a cohesive project team with defined responsibilities far assigned projects;Mentor staff as required to effectively carry out their assigned tasksSkills And Experiences
To be considered
Trade or tertiary qualification in Building, Construction or EngineeringCurrent Senior First AidMinimum 5-7 years' experience in a similar roleHigh level ability to read and interpret drawingsWell-developed planning skills including industry knowledge regarding lead times for delivery and trade worksStrong leadership and management skills and the ability to motivate and develop teams and individualsKnowledge of the work of construction trades and ability to assess quality of workmanshipTotal Construction is a Great Place to Work
