We are currently on the lookout for an experienced civil Project Manager to join our team in Karratha on a Full-Time Maximum term or Casual contract with works likely to run for at least 12 months.
Ideally, we would like someone based in Karratha, Dampier or the surrounding areas.

Your key responsibilities:
- Provide visible safety leadership & model positive safety behaviours.
- Ensure competencies are matched with task needs & optimise the impact of parallel activities on project effectiveness.
- Conduct pre-starts, toolbox feedback, & group safety involvement meetings.
- Ensure project-wide management systems are in place, understood, & functioning.
- Effectively prioritise & assign resources across projects.
- Ensure systems & processes support a zero-harm environment.
- Set clear performance expectations & provide regular feedback.
- Guide superintendents on achieving budget objectives & select the best ways to achieve them.
- Join in leading our diversity, values & culture piece across the project and wider business.
- Communicate and reinforce project risk controls.
- Review & communicate medium-term operational plans & monthly performance targets.
- Manage client engagements to ensure best outcomes across the board.
What will set you up for success:
- 5+ years of leadership experience in civil construction, ideally within the rail/or mining industries, including demonstrable safety leadership.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably including mine site exposure.
- Ideally, tertiary qualifications in project management or civil engineering.
- Demonstrated technical and analytical skills in civil construction & infrastructure functions.
- Competent understanding of civil methods, with experience in applying productivity techniques.
- Effective communication & presentation skills with the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
- Highly developed leadership skills to empower the operational team towards the business vision.
- Ability to act with customers in mind & build & maintain effective relationships by gaining trust & respect.
- Ability to think critically to manage challenging & time-bound situations.
