Position Summary

Primary Teachers in our Primary School are responsible for providing a Christ-centred, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for students in Early Childhood and Years 3–6. This role involves planning and delivering high-quality curriculum, fostering academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth, and promoting a positive classroom culture. The teacher will work collaboratively with colleagues and leadership to implement the College's vision and values, support student wellbeing, and contribute to a thriving Primary School community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering effective teaching and learning programs in line with the Australian Curriculum
  • Differentiating instruction to meet diverse student needs
  • Supporting the development of each child—academic, spiritual, social, and emotional
  • Maintaining strong communication with students, parents, and colleagues

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications as a teacher including experience with the WA & Australian Curriculum or a similar School Curriculum.
  • All applicants must be registered to teach in Western Australia with the TRBWA (Teacher Registration Board), have a current Federal Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.

Candidate Profile

You will be:

  • A practicing Christian, aligned with and committed to modelling the College's ethos and core values (Pastor's reference required)
  • Enthusiastic about nurturing the "whole child"—academically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially
  • Innovative and adaptable, balancing teacher-directed instruction with student-centred learning strategies
  • Collegial, well-organised, and proactive with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Registered or eligible to register with the TRBWA, with current clearances (Working With Children, Federal Police, as required)

  • Remuneration for this position will be determined dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
