Finn Valley is seeking an experienced Pipelayer to join our team in Newcastle and the Lower Hunter Region, NSW. As a Pipelayer, you will play a vital role in our civil construction operations to support the delivery of our projects. This job is based on-site in Newcastle and the Lower Hunter Region.

Job Tasks and Duties:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Experience in in installation of underground services

Experience Required:

  • Experience in different activities including – Drainage, Pavement Construction, Pit Lid installation, top soiling & concreting etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
  • Use of pipe lasers and other alignment equipment
  • Knowledge of trench shoring and safe excavation practices
  • Must be able to work hard, follow directions and be reliable.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to be flexible.
  • Hold a construction white card.
  • Physically fit.
  • Available for immediate start.

Job Types: Full-time, Subcontract, Casual

Pay: $45.00 – $55.00 per hour
