About the role

We are seeking experienced Roofers to join our team at SGR Roofing National in Redcliffe, QLD. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial properties.

What you'll be doing

1. Installing new roofs using a variety of materials such as metal and shingles
2. Repairing and maintaining existing roofs, including fixing leaks and damaged tiles or sheets
3. Safely operating roofing equipment and tools
4. Ensuring all work meets industry standards and building regulations
5. Communicating with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on progress
6. Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience as a Roofer or in a similar construction role
2. Knowledge of roofing materials, installation techniques and safety procedures
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
4. Good communication and customer service skills
5. Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail
6. Physical fitness and ability to work at heights
7. Construction industry certification or qualifications (desirable)
