The Role: The Production Assembler is responsible for the assembly and installation of tray bodies, accessories, and components onto 4WD vehicles, ensuring all work meets company specifications and quality standards. This hands-on role requires the ability to interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions, demonstrate attention to detail, and perform manual tasks in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install 4WD trays, canopies, toolboxes, and related components using appropriate tools, techniques, and equipment.Surface Preparation: Cleaning, sanding, masking, and sandblasting surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of the powder coating.
- Safely and efficiently use hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery, and report any faults or maintenance issues as needed.
- Work safely at all times, uphold WHS standards, and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace with consideration for the safety of others and yourself.
- Perform and record all required quality checks and inspections, report non-conformances, and take action to prevent further processing of defective products.
- Accurately read and follow technical drawings, assembly instructions, and specifications to ensure correct installation and build quality.
About You:
- You will have a a strong commitment to safe work practices and maintaining a safe environment.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools, with the ability to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions, complete documentation, and contribute effectively to team discussions.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and identifying process faults, with basic computer literacy for accessing job instructions and recording production data.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
