Full Time Qualified Chef

Dandenong RSL is currently seeking an experienced, talented and passionate Full Time Chef to join their dynamic team. Reporting to the Head Chef you will be an integral part of our kitchen team, assisting the Head Chef to maintain quality and consistency in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities of this role

·       Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed

·       Participate in menu development and costings

·       Daily food preparation

·       Ensure dishes are prepared and presented as per kitchen standards

·       Assisting in teaching and mentoring junior chefs

·       Stay updated with culinary trends

About You

·       A passion for cooking Western Cuisine

·       Must have a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery

·       Ability to adhere to Food Safety Standards

·       Ability to work well under pressure

·       Punctual, flexible and reliable

·       Function experience advantageous
