The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Statutory Approvals and Contract Administration Officer to join our Assets Department. In this role, you'll help ensure that legislation requirements and corporate policies and procedures relating to contracts, land tenure, planning, environmental and cultural heritage matters are met in a timely manner.
You will provide expert project and administrative support related to land tenure, planning, environmental, and cultural heritage matters, assisting the Assets Department in the planning and delivery of major and minor capital projects.
What you'll bring
- A qualification in planning (or a related field) or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience interpreting legislation relating to statutory planning and delivery of projects and ability to seek appropriate advice for stakeholders.
- The ability to build relationships and communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management skills combined with the ability to prioritise and manage tasks simultaneously.
