Join Canberra BMW, part of the award-winning, family-owned Jowett Motor Group – proudly representing leading automotive brands including BMW, MINI, Honda, Audi, Geely and Chery.

The main function of this role is to perform routine motorcycle repairs, services and maintenance on motorcycles as required by manufacturer standards and as per customers' requests.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair on customer motorcycles.
• Identify problems using the diagnostic equipment.
• Explain motorcycle repairs and issues and provide great customer service.
• Plan repair procedures using charts manuals and experience.
• Test the functionality of parts and systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work.

To be successful in your new role you will have:

• Graduated from a certificate or diploma level in Light Vehicle Mechanical technology.
• Proven experience in fault finding using diagnostic knowledge and initiative.
• Ability to use the diagnostic equipment.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• A positive attitude and enthusiasm for motorcycles
• Strong people skills and solid computer literacy
• A valid motorcycle license
• A team player who thrives in a fast-paced workshop
• A commitment to excellent customer service and attention to detail
