Position Overview

We are seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented DJI Dock 3 Station Assembly Technician to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and commissioning of DJI Dock 3 systems, ensuring adherence to strict quality, safety, and compliance standards. This role requires demonstrated mechanical aptitude, a commitment to quality assurance, and a high degree of professionalism in client-facing environments.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assemble, configure, and install DJI Dock 3 stations in accordance with manufacturer specifications, engineering guidelines, and company standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive inspections, quality assurance checks, and compliance verifications prior to deployment.
  • Accurately document assembly processes, inspection records, and field service reports.
  • Provide structured feedback to engineering and quality teams for continuous improvement.
  • Perform troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and corrective action for mechanical and integration issues.
  • Ensure all work complies with occupational health and safety (OH&S) regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Represent the company with professionalism on client sites, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Certificate, trade qualification, or equivalent experience in mechanical assembly, mechatronics, or related technical discipline.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and proven experience in assembly or installation roles within a technical or industrial setting.
  • Experience in quality control, inspection, and compliance reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work to strict project deadlines.
  • Professional communication, presentation, and client interaction skills.
  • Current driver's license with flexibility to travel to client sites as required.
Desirable Competencies
  • Experience with drones, robotics, automation, or precision equipment.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, cabling, or IT/network integration.
  • Familiarity with DJI products and unmanned aerial system (UAS) technologies.
