About the Role

The Clinical Trials Officer (CTO) is responsible for supporting the conduct of assigned clinical trials at Nucleus Network in accordance with HREC approved protocol and Nucleus Network standard operating procedures.

This is a great entry-level position into the Clinical Trials industry where you will be provided with training in Good Clinical Practice and Good Documentation Practices.

The CTO will work closely with the Clinical Research Coordinators and Manager of Project Delivery as a part of the study team, to assist in the effective running of each study in order to meet the sponsor expectations and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

  • Pre-Study activities - preparation of participant charts
  • On-Study activities – pathology management
  • Post study close out - archiving
  • Participant management
  • Quality activities

Requirements

  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow specific instructions and guidelines
  • Demonstrated competence in the personal attributes of initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work full time, Monday to Friday

Desired qualifications, competencies, and experience

  • Previous experience in clinical trial study coordination or organization is favourable
  • Experience in handling pathology results, taking phone calls, data entry and archiving
