Cherry Picker (EWP) Operator Position Summary:

Picker Key Responsibilities:

• Harvest avocados by working at heights using a cherry picker/EWP
• Inspect avocados for quality and adhere to picking standards.
• Safely operate and maintain machinery.
• Transport harvested avocados to collection points.
• Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness.
• Report issues promptly to management.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in fruit picking (avocados preferred).
• Ability to work at heights and experience in safely operationg EWPs.
• Understanding of WHS standards and quality control.
• Physical fitness and stamina for manual labor.
• Attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle

Performance Goals:

• Meet daily and weekly picking targets.
• Maintain high-quality standards with minimal errors.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols.
• Ensure equipment is well-maintained.
