As a Sales Merchandiser, calling on key stores in Townsville, the successful applicant will report to the Queensland State Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  • Replenishment of shelves and merchandising

  • Restock off-location displays

  • Foster and maintain effective relationships with key team members

  • Develop a rapport with customers and assist with upselling

  • Erect promotional displays

  • Provide training on all new tool releases to team members and customers

  • Competitor activity tracking

  • Identify new sales opportunities

  • Communicate daily with State Manager

  • Product ordering for off locations

Position Requirements:

  • Strong time management skills and the ability to plan and organise

  • Ability to build strong relationships with a focus on effective communication with all team members

  • Strong focus on merchandising standards

  • Intermediate IT skills

  • Current driver's licence

  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment

  • Flexibility is important

  • Some heavy lifting required
