About the role

Redjak Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Asbestos Labourers and Supervisors A&B Class to join our team in Willawong, Queensland. This full-time role will involve the safe handling, removal, and disposal of asbestos materials from residential and commercial properties.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely removing and containing asbestos materials from various sites
  • Supervising and coordinating the work of asbestos removal teams
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all asbestos removal activities
  • Providing training and guidance to less experienced team members
  • Liaising with clients, authorities, and other stakeholders as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years proven experience as an Asbestos Labourer or Supervisor with A&B Class certification
  • Thorough understanding of asbestos removal procedures and relevant regulations
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of health and safety
  • Willingness to undergo regular training and development
  • Valid White Card (Construction Induction Training)
  • Current Australian driver's licence
  • Full working rights in Australia (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing
