About Us

Laynhapuy Homelands Aboriginal Corporation is a not-for-profit organisation that has supported 30 homeland communities in East Arnhem Land for over 40 years. We deliver essential services including healthcare, aged care, housing, community services, and land and sea management through our Yirralka Rangers.

The Role

We're looking for a proactive HR Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll support the full employee lifecycle—recruitment, onboarding, development, and offboarding—while ensuring HR policies, compliance, and systems run smoothly. You'll also:

  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, exits, and system access with managers and HR leadership
  • Draft and maintain HR policies, procedures, and WHS initiatives
  • Support performance reviews, training, and development planning
  • Respond to HR queries, assist with workplace matters, and escalate where needed
  • Maintain accurate HR records and reporting

What You'll Bring

  • Qualifications in HR and relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of Fair Work legislation and compliance requirements
  • Strong admin and IT skills (MS Office, databases)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to engage respectfully with people from diverse cultural and language backgrounds
  • Current DL, Police Check and NT WWC card (or ability to get)
