Job description:
- SCHCADS Award hourly rates ranging from $44 to $48 (dependent on experience)
- Full-time max-term: Monday to Friday + Some WFH Flexibiliy

Your Role
Make a difference by supporting women and families experiencing homelessness. This impactful role offers the opportunity to provide compassionate casework, crisis intervention, and advocacy to those in need. You will be joining a compassionate and supportive team that values your expertise, prioritises your professional development, and empowers you to make a lasting difference in your local community.
Your Responsibility
- Develop case conceptualisation and treatment plans informed by client assessments.
- Deliver individual counselling across a range of modalities including face-to-face, video, and telephone.
- Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic group programs.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage emergency risk plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely client documentation and reporting.
- Actively participate in case conferencing, clinical supervision, quality improvement, and program review processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
Profile description:
You Will Need
- TAFE Certificate IV or relevant tertiary study (completed or in progress).
- Proven experience supporting vulnerable people, especially those facing homelessness
- Knowledge of homelessness-related issues like mental health, addiction, and family breakdown.
- Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage crises.
- NSW driver licence and proficiency in basic computer systems.
- Experience working with women/families will be highly regarded
