Senior Software Engineer

We've focused on removing fees, reducing upfront costs (your deposit) and optimising loans for young Australian families. The best idea + execution is our default at Sucasa. Our engineers work vertically across the stack, and the business. You'll run the delivery of projects which have high impact, starting from shaping requirements with product and business stakeholders, all the way to the roll out of your code and monitoring for what kind of impact you've made.

• Create experiences that delight our customers and demystify the mortgage process and make buying a home intuitive and enjoyable
• Measure the effect of your contributions through analytics and qualitative feedback from customers
• Work on a wide range of projects, everything from integrating with LLMs, to developing new experiences for our React and React Native apps
• Be thoughtful in how you design monitoring, testing and alerting across our consumer surfaces
• Collaborate with our UX designers, Head of Engineering and co-founders to deliver high-quality software
• Continuously improve our development processes and tools to increase our efficiency and quality of work
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and integrate where possible, finding ways to integrate into our workflows.

• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer building at early stage startups
• Salary: A$180K - A$240K
• Currency: Australian Dollar

• On-site or Remote work policy: Our office is in Sydney, Australia. We are open to remote candidates in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. Global remote candidates are also considered, provided they can work Australian hours. If in Sydney, coming into the office most days is ideal.
