Where you'll be working
What you'll be doing
  • Extensive post graduate clinical experience and knowledge in providing evidence-based mental health assessment and treatment for children, adolescents and their families, as well as demonstrated understanding of the principles of trauma informed care and its application.
  • Ability to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to accomplish service goals and improve consumer care and outcomes.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and competence in the use of information technology systems.
  • Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff.
  • Ability to provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff and students.
  • Evidence of a current unrestricted driver's licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
