Infrastructure Canberra (iCBR) is responsible for leading and supporting the procurement and delivery of the ACT Government's infrastructure programs. We deliver infrastructure for the Canberra community, improving our liveability, enabling a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable city.
iCBR is seeking an experienced leader to undertake the Executive Branch Manager, Customer and Asset Management role, and deliver customer management and asset services across the ACT property portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the senior leadership in the Delivery – Places and Spaces group, shaping the delivery of our broad property management services.
Delivery – Places and Spaces Division plays a central role in managing the ACT Government's property portfolio and strengthening the workforce that supports vital public services. The Group manages and maintains both owned and leased buildings that enable the ACT Government to provide Government and community accommodation and services. The group supports the ACT Governments delivery of its services through flexible, efficient and cost-effective accommodation solutions and property services. The Delivery Places and Spaces Division operates on a fee for service basis.
The Executive Branch Manager, Customer and Asset Management plays a pivotal role in improving outcomes for the community through strategic leadership and operational excellence. Reporting to the Executive Group Manager, this position oversees customer and tenancy management, procurement, sustainability, and aquatic services. It is responsible for developing and implementing accommodation and leasing strategies, ensuring effective service delivery across the property group portfolio. As a key member of the leadership team, the role drives organisational change, fosters collaborative partnerships across government and with the community, and represents iCBR at key forums. Success in this role requires a people-focused, hands-on approach and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
The role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate across government and industry to deliver high-quality outcomes.

- Delivering Aquatic services
This is a strategic role with strong community presence – requiring a people focused, collaborative team based and grounded hands on approach. The successful applicant will be skilled in building effective relationships within internal teams and clients, and be passionate about improving outcomes for the community.
Eligibility/Other Requirements
- Service Delivery: Extensive experience in leading the delivery of services, with a customer service focus and mindset.
- Leasing: Experience in leasing and property management services across a range of assets including office accommodation
- Procurement: Experience in multi-level procurements
Desirable
- Experience in customer service, property management, procurement or service reform would be highly valued.
Remuneration:
The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from
$298,258
-
$288,060
depending on the current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of
$254,964.
Contract:
The successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for a period of up to five years. Prospective applicants should be aware that long-term engagements are tabled in the ACT Legislative Assembly.
