DIESEL MECHANICS or FITTERS - BDS ROMA

We currently have permanent positions available for Diesel Mechanics or Fitters to join our team in Roma. This is a full-time position and a perfect opportunity to join a large, secure, reputable company.

With 22 locations across Queensland and a fleet of over 160 field service units, we cover more than 600,000 km² across Queensland and Western Australia, ensuring reliable support wherever it's needed. The successful candidates will possess the following:

• Relevant Trade Qualification
• Diagnostic experience
• Good communication skills
• Experience on trucks and trailers
• Heavy earthmoving experience a bonus
• Strong fault finding skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Truck license preferred
• Extra skills, experience, tickets and licenses will be advantageous

Your duties will include:

• Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
• General Repairs/maintenance works – Trucks & Trailers/4×4's
• Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
• Checking vehicle lighting systems
• Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
• Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
