Just 45 minutes from the CBD, we are a large, naturally lit and bright purpose-built practice with 2 consulting rooms, surgery, IM3 dental machine, new digital x-ray machine and IDEXX in-house lab.

We are looking for a Part-time Vet Nurse to join us in providing the positive experience and exceptional standard of care we are known for. We have a loyal client base, a strong focus on high-quality care, and a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.

The team are fun, experienced, and are a part of the community, we would love to welcome a like-minded Vet Nurse into the team

About your new role:

• Part-time role, flexible hours
• Undertaking general nursing tasks and delivering personalised and dedicated client care to all patients and owners, performing minor procedures when required
• Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
• Reception duties including being the first point of contact for clients, handling client enquiries in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments, managing client accounts, admitting and discharging patients

About your skills and your experience:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 2+ years of experience
• Strong knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
• Calm, emphatetic, and mature
• Great communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
