As part of BORG's continued growth, Space Urban manage a portfolio of accommodation in regional locations throughout Australia. To support the ongoing success of this growing portfolio, we are seeking an experienced and hands-on Hotel Manager to oversee operations across multiple motels and ensure consistent standards of excellence. You will be based at our Head Office in Somersby on the Central Coast of NSW.

About the Role

The Hotel Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations, financial performance, and guest experience across several regional motels located in West Gosford, Oberon, Bombala and Mount Gambier.

This role is ideal for a results-driven hospitality professional who thrives in a dynamic, multi-site environment and enjoys leading diverse teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences. You will implement operational standards, drive profitability, ensure compliance, and lead continuous improvement across all sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support on-site motel managers and staff across multiple regional properties
• Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in service, housekeeping, maintenance, and safety
• Conduct regular site visits and audits to maintain high operational standards and compliance
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for each property and the overall portfolio
• Analyse occupancy, ADR, and profitability metrics; identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance performance
• Oversee guest experience standards, manage online reputation, and ensure prompt resolution of guest feedback
• Collaborate with marketing partners and online booking platforms to optimise visibility and revenue
• Develop and maintain relationships with local tourism bodies and community stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, licences, and safety standards
• Oversee maintenance, capital works, and property upgrades to protect asset value

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• 10+ years in hotel or multi-site accommodation management (portfolio, regional, or area manager level preferred)
• Strong understanding of property operations, financial management, and guest experience drivers
• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
• Working knowledge of accommodation management systems (e.g. RMS, Cloudbeds, Little Hotelier, etc.) desirable
• Relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality, business, or management advantageous
• Flexibility to travel between locations as required
