Toowoomba Grammar School (TGS) is looking for a Registrar to join the team. Working closely with the Director of Enrolments and Engagement, the Registrar oversees the smooth progression of enquiries, applications, and interviews, while ensuring prospective and new families experience a professional, welcoming, and seamless journey into the School.
About TGS
Founded in 1875, TGS is a member school of the Great Public Schools Association of Queensland (GPS). It is an independent non-denominational day and boarding school for boys with a total enrolment of 1,200 from Preparatory to Year 12. There are 300 boarders in the School coming predominantly from throughout Queensland, Northern New South Wales and the Northern Territory.
It is our vision that our boys will graduate from TGS with the skills to be independent, well-balanced, and successful in life. That they are boys of good character who respond well to challenges and achieve life-long wellbeing.
About the Position
The Registrar is responsible for managing the enrolment process and supporting the achievement of enrolment targets.
Selection Criteria:
You will be able to demonstrate your ability and commitment to:
- Relevant Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of three years' experience in a Registrar, Enrolments Officer, or similar role, with a Certificate III in Business (Administration) or equivalent industry experience.
- Admissions and Enrolment Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage the full enrolment cycle, including enquiries, applications, tours, interviews, and compliance with CRICOS and exchange student requirements.
- Family Engagement and Customer Service: Proven capacity to build strong relationships with prospective families, providing a professional, welcoming, and seamless enrolment experience.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Liaison: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, agents, and other stakeholders to achieve enrolment goals.
- Data Management and Reporting: High level skills in maintaining accurate enrolment data, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with census, scholarship, and bursary processes.
- Professional Knowledge and Compliance: Up to date knowledge of enrolment practices, policies, and trends, with a commitment to compliance, professional conduct, and modelling school.
