The Opportunity

This isn't just another maintenance role—it's your chance to be the go-to electrical expert. You'll have autonomy to manage, maintain, and improve the electrical side of the plant while working alongside a skilled maintenance and operations team.

Why You'll Want This Role

• Stability & balance – Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:00 PM (38-hour week)

• Attractive package – $110K including superannuation

• Team environment – Collaborate with 3 Fitters and 40+ Operators

• Ownership & impact – Take charge of electrical systems and drive improvements

What You'll Do

• Start up the plant daily and ensure smooth operation

• Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns and electrical faults

• Lead small projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Maintain site lighting, security systems, and electrical infrastructure

• Diagnose and fault-find on PLCs and control systems

• Support the control side of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Complete statutory testing (RCDs, test & tag, emergency lighting)

• Coordinate contractors and manage ordering of spare parts

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience as an Industrial or Manufacturing Electrician

• Strong PLC fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Solid problem-solving and organisational skills

• Comfortable managing contractors and suppliers

Essential Licences & Tickets

• Current QLD Electrical Licence

• EWP Licence (preferred but not essential)
