We're preparing to launch an exciting new site in late July to early August and are currently inviting expressions of interest for a team of labourer and labourer operators to join from day one.

QA Build is a leading construction company working within GemLife with a long pipeline of work with resorts located in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

Are you an experienced Construction Labourer and/or Labourer Operator looking for a rewarding opportunity? QA Build (GemLife) Kilcoy Residential Contruction Team are seeking casual Labourers and Labourer Operators to join the team. A brand-new site about to start construction of our Villas, we are looking for licensed telehandler operator, an excavator operator, and a skid steer operator skilled in moving pallets and blocks in restricted space plus to dig, move and compact earth. The labourer/operator role is varied and will include labouring work as well

The Labourer will have experience within construction, be proactive about tidying the site, be physically fit and able to lift above 30kilo's and asking for work once finished a task and also both will be very health and safety aware.

Responsibilities and Requirements are one or all of the below as a labourer plant operator:

  • All pre-starts on machinery
  • Precise in excavation.
  • CN License (nice to have)
  • Telehandler License
  • Skid Steer License
  • Excavator License

For both roles

  • Taking direction and proactive in understanding what is required for the role.
  • Ensuring that the site is always clean and tidy
  • Construction Industry Card (White Card)
  • Australian manual driver's license
  • Previous experience as a construction labourer
  • A real understanding and diligent about Site Safety
