In this varied and exciting opportunity to join Tasty Fresh Food Co. you will be a vital member of our warehouse crew who are responsible for cleaning and stocking our famous lunch vans ready for their time out on the roads the following morning.

You will receive full training and support.

Your MR or HR truck driving licence will enable you to occasionally support our regular driver when on leave, on the nightly run from Wetherill Park to Newcastle, round trip. Variety is the spice of life

• MR/HR licence and truck driving experience required

• Great pay from $32 per hour casual adult rate applicable penalties
• Shift length 4-8 hours, working 2-3 days per week (average 10-15 hours per week with Flexibility to take on more highly regarded)
• Availability to work Sunday to Friday shifts as rostered between the hours of 1:00pm – 5.00pm Warehouse shifts
• Occasional driving shift as needed 5.00pm-1.00am

Please note -

• Due to the variety and volumes of our products, candidates should be aware that working with certain food products, e.g. meats, dairy or gluten-based items is a requirement of this role
• Payrate listed is for an adult 21 years old and will be less for younger applicants

Role tasks and opportunities

• Assisting with general warehouse duties
• Forklift operations - current forklift licence required Loading and unloading vehicles
• General cleaning and tidying of warehouse floor
• Practicing cleanliness and safety at all times
• Other ad hoc tasks as required to keep it interesting
• Occasional truck driving Wetherill Park to Newcastle return - MR or HR licence required with driving experience

Your MR or HR licence ads more variety to the role enabling you to provide occasional back up support, during times of leave, to our full-time truck driver driving the nightly run from Wetherill Park to Newcastle return trip. These shifts would be occasional from 5pm - 1am.

• You have a current Australian NSW MR or HR drivers licence
• Current forklift licence and experience essential
• Reliable car and licence to get to and from the depot
• Australian work rights are needed
• You are comfortable and competent lifting up to 25kg intermittently without assistance
• Being a physical role, you are confident to competently bend, lift, twist, stretch and reach upwards and downwards frequently without discomfort
• You are a strong communicator and able to positively interact
• You have good basic level computer knowledge to update our system as required
