About the role

We're looking for a Service Technician Trainee to join our Darwin team in a full-time role. You'll receive comprehensive training to build your skills in maintaining and repairing industrial safety equipment from leading brands including MSA Safety, 3M Scott Safety, Honeywell Analytics, Bauer, and Alcolizer.

In this role, you'll learn to inspect, service, and calibrate critical lifesaving equipment such as Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), gas detection instruments, breathing air compressors, fire protection systems, and confined space and working-at-heights gear.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist experienced technicians with diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with safety equipment
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance and testing on equipment to ensure it meets safety standards
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of all work performed
  • Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients as needed
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures
  • Work closely with service administrator to ensure timely completion of works

  • A current driver's license and ability to travel to client sites as needed
  • White card or ability to obtain
