We are in a strong growth phase and have a new opportunity for an experienced Fitter Machinist to join our team. This role is based at our Sydney- Alexandria factory, Day Shift 6.00am - 2.30pm Mon Thu 6.00am – 12pm Friday. You will need Trade Qualification and experience in mechanical fitting and Machining.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret Metric or imperial Engineering drawings for manufacturing.
  • Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner.
  • Maintain work area in a safe and clean manner.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Able to perform gearbox, bearing, shaft assemblies.
  • Some knowledge or experience with electrical componentry interfacing is preferable
  • A committed and proactive attitude towards Environment, Health and Safety

Qualification and experience

  • Relevant trade qualifications and demonstrated experience.
  • Min 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter
