About the Role

  • We're seeking a caring and dedicated Special Needs Education Assistant to support students in our Early Years classrooms. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and wants to make a meaningful impact every day. You'll be part of a collaborative team focused on creating a calm, respectful, and engaging learning environment for all.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Assisting classroom teachers with lesson delivery and routines
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support
  • Helping implement individual learning plans
  • Encouraging positive social and emotional development
  • Communicating with staff and families when appropriate

Requirements

Working With Children Check (WWCC)

Education Department National Police Clearance

Experience working with children with additional needs

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Patient, empathetic, and reliable
