About the Role

Due to our rapid growth, we're seeking a passionate and motivated Purchasing Officer to join our dynamic Purchasing and Procurement team at our Head Office in Helensvale, Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key role in a fast-paced environment, working with innovative systems and overseeing our broad product range and online presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor and manage stock levels to ensure optimal inventory for seamless operations.
  • Secure a consistent supply of goods to support TRADEZONE's nationwide network.
  • Build lasting relationships with suppliers, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Negotiate competitive pricing to drive value for the company.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve product queries efficiently and effectively.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in procurement or supply chain is a plus, but not essential—we welcome motivated individuals eager to grow into the role.
  • Data analytics skills are highly desirable to help optimise purchasing decisions and drive efficiency.
  • Advance Microsoft Excel Skills are a must.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm for embracing challenges with a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong proficiency with computer systems and software.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, supportive environment.
  • A passion for learning and a drive to develop new skills, contributing to both personal growth and company innovation.
  • Familiarity with the Electrical Wholesale Industry is an advantage, but not required—we'll provide the training to help you succeed
