WA Blockmakers- General Labourer

WA Blockmakers is located in the area of Woottating (also known as The Lakes), which is 20 minutes from Mundaring and about 30 minutes from Northam. We are seeking to add an additional role and fill the position of General Labourer at our block making operation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Strapping packs of retaining blocks using strapping equipment
  • Operating a forklift
  • Moving blocks off the pad to a storage area
  • Assisting the site supervisor with various production tasks
  • Cleaning down and maintaining equipment after daily production runs
  • Assisting maintenance crews to maintain equipment
  • Tidying and maintaining cleanliness of the production slab
  • Tidying and maintaining cleanliness of site amenities

To be considered for this position you must:

  • WA Forklift license preferred but a course will be offered to the right candidate
  • Some experience as a general labourer or general hand
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Have a reliable vehicle
  • Be willing to perform general cleaning duties

A competitive wage is on offer with some overtime - average 40-45 hours per week (Monday to Friday). There may also be opportunities to progress your training and development within our company including in a full time position.

This job would ideally suit someone living in the greater Mundaring/Sawyers Valley, Bakers Hill Northam areas.
