We are seeking an enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to engage our secondary students in developing confidence and curiosity in mathematics. The successful applicant will create meaningful learning experiences that build problem-solving and analytical skills, while inspiring students to see the real-world relevance of mathematics in a supportive school environment.

Ongoing, part-time position

Commencing Term 1, 2026

0.6 FTE minimum ongoing in Mathematics, with the possibility of up to 0.9 FTE.

The School's timetabling process allows for some level of flexibility. The Mathematics position is 0.6 FTE and there may be additional FTE available depending on the applicant's skills and experience in other curriculum areas.

Selection Criteria

The successful candidate must have:

• Relevant teaching qualifications and be registered with the TRBWA
• Current Working with Children Check
• A passion for student success
• Relevant teaching qualifications
• Appropriate teaching experience in the Mathematics Learning Area
• Current knowledge and understanding of SCSA WA Curriculum
• Experience in curriculum differentiation and modifying learning tasks to meet specific educational needs
• Relevant understanding of the teaching, learning, assessment and reporting cycle
• The ability to work collaboratively to build rapport with students, parents and staff to develop respectful, inclusive and positive working relationships
