Relief and Recovery Development Officer

In this role, you'll:

Support the coordination of allocated resources relating to Council's emergency management activities, including:

  • the development and maintenance of emergency plans;
  • preparedness arrangements;
  • emergency response and recovery capability; and
  • community education and awareness.

What we're looking for:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to develop and deliver presentations, write reports, and build productive working relationships.
  • Exceptional digital literacy and written and interpersonal skills.
  • Skills and experience in meeting all statutory obligations and compliance standards, including risk management and OH&S requirements.
  • Skills and experience in strategic emergency management and securing grants and other funding.
