Your new career
We are seeking multiple casual lifeguards to join the team at the Winchelsea Pool over the warmer summer months (November 2025 to March 2026).
What you will bring to the role
As a Lifeguard at the Winchelsea Pool you will help provide a safe and welcoming environment for the community. You will be patient, friendly and engaging to keep pool users informed and safe at all times.
To thrive in this role you will have:
- Current lifeguard qualification
- Great communication skills
- Amazing judgement and decision-making skills
Key selection criteria
Mandatory qualifications, experience and requirements
- Pool Lifeguard certification.
- Level 2 First Aid qualification.
- Sound understanding of the Pool Safety Operating Guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to make judgements on safety hazards and emergencies.
- A current Working With Children Check
- You have the permanent right to live and work in Australia
- Police Check results that are suitable for this position (will be arranged by Surf Coast Shire Council).
A complete international criminal history check is required if the person has worked or lived overseas for any period of time OR a complete national criminal history check is required if the person has only ever worked in Australia.
